About DepEd Siquijor

Since its establishment in 1965, DepEd Division of Siquijor has continuously served to meet new challenges in its pursuit to achieve quality education in support of the programs, thrust and projects of the Department of Education.

DepEd Siquijor is a medium division comprising eight (8) districts with sixty-four (64) public elementary schools, fifteen (15) public secondary schools with senior high school, nine (9) private elementary, seven (7) private secondary with senior high school and one (1) SUC has become more challenging to the leaders and administrators that compose of whole Division of Siquijor. This division has successfully gained a good position in terms of more than very satisfactory performances, be it in Regional or at the National Level.

The administrators in this division are in concerted effort to sustain high performances by giving full support through training and seminar-workshops to enhance capabilities and foster new learning among the leaders and teaching staff which is essential in the successful implementation of the Department’s bid for quality education and global competitiveness.
